Never would I have imagined Brisbane getting held to nil as frequently as they have lately. Any team would love to play them right now. A Bulldogs victory last weekend would have put the Broncos at the very bottom of the ladder halfway through this comp
 
How has Lockyer kept a job when he:
  • Can only mumble, talks nonsense, yet is a media commentator
  • Is on the Bronco Board which appointed Seibold, and he is still defending the decision
  • Was a director of a company which is in the news for alleged fraudulent activities....
Why do the media and sponsors think because a bloke can play footy he has specialist skills that others have taken decades to learn?

Never ever EVER thought I’d see it but this mornings Bronco Mail ( Courier Mail which I never buy but my neighbour is away and he’s forgotten to cancel his subscription) has a story that says exactly this!!

Let’s not forget we named a major road after him too ( seriously the Brisbane to Toowoomba road which carries hundreds of thousands of vehicles every week)!!!

I look at Lockyer's stats as a player and they are super impressive. But when he played, I can't honestly say I ever 'feared' him when we played against him. Unlike Thurston, Johns or even Fittler. Am I unfair when I say that, whilst one of the best of his era, he was actually overrated?

I'm with you with respect to his credentials to be on the board.... Probably part of his off the books TPA.
 
Since the players took over the coaching role and won last week Seibold must have coached them this week. Didn't the Rabbits, and the donkeys management noticed that when he was defensive coach at Manly no matter how many points we scored in most games we would get lapped. Scoring points is great but its stopping the opposition from scoring that wins you games. 1986 grand final the most boring grand final but best lesson on how defense wins game. Final score parra 4 bulldogs 2 it wasn't scoring points that won the game it was defense. what was the donkeys thinking someone farked up researching Seibolds defense records. All those tries that were scored through the middle when at Manly still brings anger and tears to my eyes. If the chihuahua's think under Deano was bad under pretty boy if he stays to Manly form it will only lead to tears. What is worse is that everyone is pissing in his pocket saying how great he is so the problem at Manly must have been the players. (tongue in cheek)
