They won't be while Greenturd is in charge. For all his his rhetoric about the league getting tough on misbehaving fans or clubs (which by extension means coaches and players) who question the integrity of the referees or act towards them like Graham and Klemmer did, shock horror that when his 'former' club turns out to be the first offenders (or in the case of the idiot element of their fans, repeat offenders) he comes out and says something like "the next ones will be punished".

Since he's been in charge the Scumdogs have been given a lot of leeway by the league, lead by Greenturd.

I can't say what the league would have done against most other clubs, but the way Greenturd knowingly hates Manly you could almost bet you house that if that was our fans or it was Killer and another of our players standing over Sutton yelling abuse at him.....he would do everything in his power to throw as much of the book that he can at us.

Can't remember the exact amount but we copped a good fine for walking out late at the GF, I wouldn't have walked out with that bell ringing crap going on.

Here's a picture of one of the hollow treats given to Klemmer and Graham by Greenberg

Oh sorry threats, hollow threats...

I remember some years ago the dogs fans being in trouble after a roosters match at the SFS. I am sure there was a threat to deduct points in the aftermath of that game if it was done again. Track record = need to be an example of.

The NRL is bringing in an additional seven riot police for the next Dogs match.
So, who pays for this extra expense? It should be the Dogs but I'd bet it will be the NRL.

I dont think you can strip points from a team for crowd behaviour but a hefty fine should be a no brainer and a bond if it happens again a crowd lock out and only members from the visiting side can attend would hurt a lot more
This is what happens to re-offending clubs / fans in Soccer. Added to the punishment would be possible reimbursement of income to the stadium due lower crowds. On the surface, it appears harsh to exclude all club fans for the actions of a few, but it would only happen once or twice before the fans and club made a concerted effort to identify the offenders.

Deducting points will, in time, have rival supports coming to other clubs games and running a muck 100%.

Moving back to the field for a bit....

What would Col Pearce have done if Klemmer or Graham had got into HIS face?

Ahhhh, the good ole days!

I could fix this problem. I'd give all refs Tasers and permission to use them if they feel a player is being threatening or rude. I guarantee it wouldn't last long after the first few get tased :rofl::rofl:
