James Anderson just took his 564th wicket to surpass Glenn McGrath's total number of wickets.

Records are made to be broken, but this one still makes me a little sad as Glenn is a 'sporting hero' of mine.

Still, well done James and an exciting end to the 5th test against India where Alastair Cook scored a century in his final test innings.

England win the series.

You have to say Anderson is a quality swing bowler when the conditions suit him. Ooh Aah could do it anywhere though, as he was a line and length seaming machine. Anderson has had a good career and has been the backbone of that team for many years, but he's not in McGrath's class.

A legend overtaken by a ball tampering grub.
Anderson is the Cameron Smith of cricket.

Let’s face it, anything a ‘Little Englander’ (more often than not these days - Irishmen, NZers, Sarth Efricans, Subcontinentals, West Injuns) can do, an Australian can do better. Even the coach is Australian and he faces potential summary execution when he returns to these shores, traitorous scum that he is.😉

Who or where is the English Bradman? English Warne? English Lillee? English Gilchrist?
