There are still more players and a stronger local League competition in Perth, than in Melbourne.
They shouldn't be waiting 8 years for a gig in the top grade and it's kids like this that the NRL can start tapping into. It took Melbourne over a decade to get a genuine local into their Storm line-up. Perth would do it within two years.
