And how about an all Manly QLD side.

1 - Dale Shearer
2 - Kerry Boustead
3 - Chris Close
4 - Steve Bell
5 - John Ribot
6 - Ben Walker
7 - Daly Cherry-Evans
8 - Martin Bella
9 - Matt Ballin
10 - Dave Brown
11 - Bruce Walker
12 - Paul McCabe
13 - Paul Vautin

Interchange:

Owen Cunningham
Neil Tierney
Danny Moore

Maybe you should include some pre-Origin era Queenslanders Jimmy, to round out your 17. Like Ken Day and Mick Veivers?

I only included post 1970 players that I am familiar with, can't recall Ken Day, I recall a Vievers who was a front rower I think for Queensland in the pre-origin era.

Ben Walker is scratching the bottom of the barrell there mate.

Yeh I know mate, I could not think of a 5/8.
Perhaps move Rowdy to 5/8, Kerry Boustead to fullback and bring Danny Moore on to the wing.

Great time of year to bring this up.
I'm trying to feel the hate, not humanise the enemy.

Shearer, Ribot, Vautin and Close can all eat a bag.

Jimmy - Day and Vievers played for Manly in the same era (mid to late 60s). Day was injured and unable to play in the 1968 GF and his absence is often given as a reason as to why Manly lost that game. The Vievers you can recall is cousin Greg. Another cousin, Tom, was a 60s test cricketer.
