Seems pretty evident from the pods though it was time for him to go

Hard to see that attitude fitting any team mentality really . I may be wrong but he didnt sound interested in healing the group and finding understanding and compromise . Very exclusionary language . Just questioning others commitment to a purpose as being naive when it suited him

Any of them? It feels like I’m reading every couple of days how the military has been deployed into a Blue State city, or how ICE has been randomly detaining immigrants, legal or otherwise. Or how about how Trump is actively telling the states to redraw congressional maps to give the GOP more favourable maps? Or how about how he’s got a hit list of people he wants to lock up (people who haven't been charged with wrongdoing either)?

Heaven forbid people react negatively to their employer putting them in a position of being perceived to publicly endorse an ideology that they disagree with, without consulting them first.

But as many have already said, this whole issue has been played out so many times on this forum.

The ideology in question is “Gay people exist and should be supported”. Not that bloody controversial, and certainly less so than expressing support for someone just convicted of grievous bodily harm, like he did for Manase Fainu right here

By sitting himself out, and his subsequent Danny Weidler interview, not only has he painted himself as a bigot, but also a hypocrite. That Pride Jersey fiasco is Josh Aloiai's legacy, and knowing that moron he's probably proud to have such a demeaning legacy.

Honestly? Glad he's gone.

Threw a hissy fit at the Tigers, then the whole pride jersey thing, and last year expressed support for Donald Trump (all you need to do is look at the fascist hellhole the US is descending into because of Trump).

And let's not romanticise his efforts as a player, he was inconsistent at best and directly cost us wins in multiple games during his tenure here - dropped the ball cold in our own 20 against the Rabbitohs in 2023 (leading to Ilias' field goal), sin binned late in a close game against Parra last year, and hit SJ's leg against the Warriors also last year, which directly cost us the win. And that's not even counting 2022, which not only cost Manly's season but also Des Hasler's job, and the reason why we now have Seibold.

I dont give a rats what any players believes or doesn't, but certainly respect anyone who stands by their values and that includes those who have opposing views to myself
As a player, pretty ordinary most the time and the 1 stage he seemed to be becoming a tough leader, seemed to fade away in the big games that counted, includes a final against South's, when we went out with a whimper....more excited by the potential of Moale tbh

Having spent all of high school in a Christian school the main thing we were taught is "love thy neighbour" as Jesus' Golden Rule.
