I think QLD will give Corey Parker a run should he be fit.

I have a gut feeling that the selectors are going to pick Jamie Lyon at 6 and I think it will work wonders. I also think they will go with King and Cooper in the centres as defensively the are probably the 2 best in the game and should be able to nullify the star studded QLD backline.. I think they should go for 2 specialist wingers... Hayne because he is a good young prospect and El Masri because he never let's anyone down and he is good under the high ball.

I've only chosen Craig Gower because i'd hate to see Kimmorley there and I don't think the selectors will go for Orford... I think it will be one of the 2 from the C v C game.

I think Anasta will be the 5/8.

One wing spot and halfback in the NSW side are probably still undecided.

I was thinking about the NSW half & 5/8 problem the other day and wondered if Preston Campbell should be given a go in the halves for the Blues. He could be our answer to a Bowen style of player if not in the run on side then at least on the bench.

Preston's injured.

We are looking thin in the halves. I'd go with Anasta and Hornby or Gower. They've been there before and it's the best option we have at the moment. Gimmemorely is ****e and Orford isn't up to it on current form. I don't think Lyon has done enough to show he can handle 5/8 at club level let alone SOO. We've just got to pray that our forwards really stand up.

I'd pick Mullen and Gidley in the halves.

Gidley's been the form player of the comp along with Thurston and Stewart in the backs. Mullen is the most consistent NSW half despite his age. Also for their combination at the Knights.

Play King on the wing with El Masri and Lyon and Cooper in the centres.

Farah off the bench.

To be honest, I think the most consistent half in the competition is Monaghan. However I don't think he is the best.

I have an inkling that Orford will tear it up on Friday and possibly get a jumper.

Orford and Lyon in the halves. King and Cooper in the centres. Wing spots go to Grothe and Hayne or Quinn.
