Saddler is a giant and has strong carries. I like him!
Cust solid and scheming.
Walker a few mistakes but definitely more X factor out wide than we had last year

Saddler has given away a few 6 agains and penalties, needs to improve their but his carries are good.
Cust looks good.

saddler been busy and Cust doesnt look out of place at 9 ,it looks like they interchange him on every 5 minutes ,Dylan not getting much opportunity but was good under that high ball

I noticed that too. He must have been working on it big time, Last year he couldn't even spiral pass to his left. Good to see!

Very scrappy game played with a lot of heart but lack of fitness and combinations showed. Walker got very little time or space, seemed to be playing very flat. Cust was OK but was only used in 5 minute stints to spell Cotter. Saddler ran hard, tackled hard, in limited minutes but gave away far too many 6 agains/penalties.

Not watching it was a masterstroke, Kiwi. I tried to watch it, if only to get a look at Cust as a number 9 (was very willing in defence, adequate at dummy half) but it bored me silly. Not what you'd call an advertisement for the great game of rugby league.
