All NRL Games [Round 8, 2025]

Yes he's a real problem child for them. Plays well about 1 in 10 games. Out injured or suspended mostly. Thought Uncle Wayne would have his measure. Perhaps not. His magic doesn't seem to be working on " The Shoe " either.

The fallout from the Latrell tackle will be interesting, as some commentators have pointed out the storm player was falling.

But we've heard that regardless of what the ball carrier is doing, it's up to the tackler not to hit the head, also
the storm player had already passed the ball and the nrl (I think) have wanted to protect players especially in that 'has just passed the ball' situation, and
if being dazed is not a good enough reason to be found not guilty of tackle indiscretions (sipley), then a player falling should not be a reason for a free hit to the head and no suspension/fine either.

Suaalli got 4 wks for the hit on Walsh in that Origin, similarish from memory in a way 🤷🏻‍♂️
And I imagine TrellyBelly has a much worse rapsheet.

Maybe it's time the dumb fu*ks in the nrl started looking at attackers with bumpers up. The Klemmer deliberate elbow to Jake last week which took him out , nothing said. Angus yesterday running and virtually punching faces nothing said. It's goes both ways.

I think Angus actually got a penalty or six again for ruck infringement when he continuously assaulted the player trying to tackle him.

People are pointing to Fa'alogo slipping, etc. and I get that there were mitigating circumstances. I too am frustrated with the lack of common sense taken by the NRL when a player slips into a tackle.

But...

I think Latrell is a different case because I don't believe he made a genuine attempt to tackle Fa'alogo. There was no wrapping of the arms and he lost his feet; it was Joey Manu 2.0. He does not seem capable of simply making a tackle in these scenarios. It's almost like he knows the player is vulnerable and instead of trying to make a tackle, he tries to smash them into next Tuesday; it's reckless.

I'm probably late to the party on this topic, BUT...
The 10 minute sin bin rule for the 'head touch' in my opinion is negatively impacting the game.
Although I can't offer a solution to this, I hope the NRL does & ASAP!
BTW, I'm not surprised at all by Latrell doing typical Latrell type of things!

What was surprising to me was even Bellamy and munster in the presser thought it was more of an accident and sort of stood up for Latrell in a way.
