All NRL Games [Round 17, 2025]

Watching the Dogs play Penrith tonight shows how far Manly is off the pace.

Seibold cannot coach and certainly clueless about understanding Defence is a prerequisite of winning a competition.

I don't think we have a single player that would make either team if picked on form.

Haumole would be he is out.

Lehi is the only other one.

If I'm going to lose a tip, I'm happy to lose it to a quality grand final like game like that, still don't think taking Mahoney off is the best move, I know they don't have a lot of options but I think losing the option of a sexton kick made it easier for penrith to put pressure on Burton.

I also think they needed to find a way to kick for the 2 points but they were super close to winning the game with the big play at the end.

Super great game overall though!

Imagine Lodge or Waddell playing in a game with that intensity

Unless I'm mistaken (which is very possible) has the bunker gotten well & truly out of control?

In the 1st half, a linesman call of a player foot in touch was ridiculously late. Yes, his little toe just touched the sideline but if it was a bunker call, then the bunker is becoming omnipresent & omnipotent.

But more bizarre was the bunker call sending a doggie player to the head bin and overruling the medicos as to grading. Are there doctors in the bunker now? Can they override a physical HIA?
While the player had to miss the game because he was debunked, he can play next week because he passed his HIA.

Truly bizarre!

We need Daddy Donald's Stealth Bomber to bust this Bunker!

I still don’t even think he needed to be taken off for a HIA let alone them call it a Cat 1 within minutes. I genuinely think he fell and then just slipped getting back up, I think it was more of an optical illusion that looked like a HIA but it wasn’t.

Can't see what the fuss is about Galvin. I'm not saying he lost them the game but they did seem to lose some flair when he came on.
He is young and he is new to the team
Much more room for improvement on his potential
He can only get better

That's exactly what I was thinking ...... what a game. Anyone writing off the Panthers is crazy.

But he didn't win them a premiership or the game? I thought in your eyes that makes him a loser and not worthy...... sack Cirraldo, reserve grade for Galvin......
