If Moses was hoping for a good audition for an Origin recall ... pretty much only his try was a standout for him tonight. The rest was average.

Still think he'll get a SOO recall. Nicho just seems not the player he was last season.

We need a kicking game. I don't care if Nicho or Luai misses out but we need a metronome and in the absence of Cleary, Moses is the guy.

I think you're probably right and they'll pick Moses. But if they want a terrifying kicking game, Burton should be the pick. We're going to need to surprise Queensland to have any hope of winning, so I'm not sure "steady as she goes" will cut it.

True, still outplayed the well below average Hynes.

Trell hit with $3000 fine if he pleads guilty or cops 2 week ban if challenges it. So he may or may not play next week depending on Madge or if he fights the charge.

A fine or two weeks?
Surely if it's bad enough to warrant two weeks ( with a challenge) then why only a pissantt fine? He's earning around $40k a game.

The NRL always go on about the image of the game yet Mitchell runs in a long way to matters into his own hands yet no suspension.

When was the last time a player was suspended just for 3rd man in? No doubt it's happened but I can't recall one.
