Gee that’s harsh. Pennies get away with a clear forward pass from dummy half (and far from their first today), then two tackles later, penalty against Wahs for a dangerous tackle…

And that moment gave the pennies the field position in the attacking zone that leads to that try… let alone going upstairs for a clear no-try only to find a high shot and the ball back to the pennies again. That’s so harsh and so subtle, but a big influence on a game.

This has been one hell of a stitch up. Ref has let go offside, slight high shots, and small things on the last two sets with the Wahs trying to run it off their line… didn’t miss any of that the other way. Gutsy win by the Wahs against the pennies and ref.
