Did anyone see the panthers training wetting the ball against the cowboys?

Will the nrl do anything? (no)

Is it a big deal?

Cowboys fans are fuming over a video that shows a Penrith trainer pouring water on the football in the wake of Saturday night's thrilling 30-all draw.

Social media has been flooded by video taken by a spectator of the trainer pouring from a water bottle onto the football before fullback Dylan Edwards kicked off to restart play midway through the game.

The NRL is aware of the incident and will decide on Monday whether to take any action against the reigning premiers.

There’s a lot of this yahooing from players that only need to run the ball over the line in the NRL today; embarrassing.

SALMON’S SLEDGE STEALS SPOTLIGHT FROM GREAT TEAM VICTORY

What a shame Jaeman Salmon’s ‘weak gutted dog’ carry on after scoring a try stole some of the spotlight away from a tremendous team victory.

We all know there is plenty of bad blood between Salmon and Ricky Stuart going back a long time (for reasons we don’t need to bring up again here).

And while no one is disputing Stuart crossed the line with his original comment, someone at the Bulldogs should pull Salmon aside and tell him he is doing neither himself or the club any favours continuing to play this out in public.

Salmon would have been better off going over and thanking his skipper for setting him up to score, because it was Crichton who he did all the work. All Salmon had to do was put the ball over the line.

Yeah, because there’s substantial narrative insight to be found in a repeat of Ricky’s initial comment 🙄
With the rehashing of the comment and scoring his try, it seems Jaemon has decided to give Sticky a big middle finger and to rub some salt in. Maybe it is just my hate for Sticky but I think that his response is likely to have some influence on how people perceive that initial comment. Would he have done it without the publicity from the week before? Hard to say.

I’m certain it’s a middle finger, I just don’t think it’s necessary. Show some class and get on with it.

Karma got him; 10 weeks out with an injury.
