In late 2024 the Dogs were $1.6 mill under the salary cap according to Gus. In fact $1 million was wasted last year on players under contract that didnt even get a run on the field Ryan Sutton, Jackson Topine, and Karl Oloapu.

To say the Dogs haven't struggled is crazy talk, the last 7 years have been a struggle and has been torture to support,once you get a wooden spoon you will know how it feels but Manly are yet to get one so fans can't fully grasp struggle. Addo Carr's $500k contract was torn up last year by Gus which opened up more space, i think you believe the players mentioned are on far more than what they actually are. Agree re rivalry, great for the game doesn't bother me who hates who if a team is playing good footy they will get my respect

All reports are that he is on just a bit more than $800k till 2027, at this rate he would have to be pushing 7 figures absolute weapon of a player and fantastic leadership, cant say re FB when signing but potentially, on Gus recent podcast he said the value of players could get even higher now that the Bears are back, going to take alot of coin to get players over there
