Alfred

Carrara, not far from AFL stadium but a lot higher up.
I'm not far from you manlyfan76. Mermaid Waters and the strong winds and rain have been on and off

That was earlier today

Compare the pair.

A twirly wirly hits Cowboy country. No one blinks an eyelid.

A twirly wirly is just parked up off the ocean somewhere near Broncos, Dolphins and Titans land. The Sky is falling. The Gold Coast paper has headlines 'It's Scary a biblical flood is coming' Rugba players WAGs are having dummy spits and throwing darts at the NRL. How dare you play your little game this weekend.

Slight difference.

We’ve got a lot of big trees, but none that would reach the house (hopefully). Down the backs the worry. Plenty of big trees close to the shed.
Tbh I’m more worried about the wildlife, especially the ones that hangout at our place. Butcher birds, Magies (with a newbie), The Kookaburras (they too have got a young-in). I had a visit from Butler the border collie from up the road this morning. I feed him cat biscuits, loves them. Two wood ducks down in the pond. Mrs Duck has a buggered leg and hobbles around, while Mr Duck stands protecting her. I’m going to try and leave the garage door open for as long as I can, so they have somewhere to shelter and eat/drink.
I'm with you Wombatgc
They'll be looking for shelter no doubt, could have quite a collection in the shed on Sat night.

155km/h winds predicted for Surfers Paradise to the Tweed. We're in Burleigh Heads.Hoping like hell the roof holds up. 25 year old brick veneer with tile roof cyclone rated but fingers crossed. We're elevated looking across to Tallebudgera
