Monday afternoon the Vancouver Canucks acquired Swedish forward Jonathan Dahlen in exchange for veteran winger Alexandre Burrows. (nhl.com)

I was kinda surprised at this, not because of 1 is better than the other but just because Burrows was one of the last remaining players from I got into hockey. *waves to the sedins*

Burrows is a real stirrer and not a bad thrid/forth liner after being taken away from the sedins (in his glory days.)

A check of the Ottawa sens forum shows they are, in general, annoyed to lose Dahlen as yet another Swede finds his way to Vancouver.

Dahlen comes to the Canucks organization after being selected 42nd overall in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft this past summer. He returned to Sweden to play for Timra IK in the Allsvenskan (Swedish second division) looking to take another step in his game. Which he did. (nhl.com)

Hopefully this is a good build towards the future. Now about our coach and gm.......!

Also, our backup goalie (Markstrom) hurt himself which kinda means the canucks can't trade 1st line goalie, Miller...even if they wanted too.

Miller's eyes are lop-sided. Ever notice that?

2 goals first game too.Sorry havnt been to interested in Canucks this year ,find it really hard to sit through a whole game,Not exciting hockey whatsoever..
Boohoo....
