AFB massive minutes

Would have spent some of that time in the second row covering for Thommo but still a big effort from the guy. One of the few big forwards that doesn't seem to tire through big minutes either.
80 massive minutes from AFB tonight. Best on ground for mine. This guy is a beast.

Totally wasted out wide as he can't throw a long pass.
But Paseka and Siro going off left Des with no choice 🙁
Not many edge forwards throw long passes, they just run lines and hit holes and offload. He made an impact on that edge and was easily our best forward tonight,

But 3 times with the line open AFB didn't pass to Brad who could have passed out to Jorge 😕
It's not his position and his short offloads up the middle was sorely missed 🙁
Would’ve had a couple of offloads last night with the mini-beaks he made but had no support pushing up

Next best option to refuse TRex but we still won.

What a fantastic game from AFB last night. We really established command of the middle field, Gallen was generous enough to admit that, and it was AFB that we needed to lead the way with aggression and power for that. Every team needs at least one big angry prop who will make the statements when statements need to be made. AFB is that guy for us: Marty is every bit as strong and determined, but a more relaxed personality. Both are going to go very close to a premiership real soon. Maybe this year!
