Is it wrong to take delight out of Blair de-railing the Broncos season?
Unnecessary shoulder charge on Jennings not only gives away a go ahead penalty, but takes out one of their best players in McCullough. Then causes a unnecessary knock on in a crucial position.
Sorry, but since the Battle Of Brookvale, I can't stand the jerk!

And as if to compound what he did taking out his own team mate, a few minutes later Blair throws a pass that ended up with doesn't-matta having the ball and scoring a few plays later.

Darcy last year was so focused, and had control of his anger. He was a real leader and the stand out prop. Not just for us but the entire comp. I know he was playing for his mum.

This year. I'm so devestated to see old Darcy back. You do wonder what off field life choices he is making. It's not the same man as last year.

Lussick needs focus and consistency in his game more so than many other players because of his personality and temperatment.

Last year he strung some football together and was fully fit and focused. This year he simply hadn't been able to get into any kind of groove. I actually don't think he is a bench prop either. He revels in the early combat and loses his way when he has to consider the context of match that is already unfolding.

Finally, I do think his form last year was not quite as impressive as it may have seemed. He was certainly better than previous years and he made lots of carries and plenty of yards, but he was constantly put on his back, meaning slow play-the-balls and he failed to keep our middle tight.

I am a fan because I love tear aways who take to opposition with anger and aggression but I just don't see enough consistency in his game.

The sad thing about Darcy Lussick is that before his shoulder injury last year he was showing his true potential and was arguably the best prop in the competition.

But he's got this brainless element to his game that works against him and his team. While I can understand him doing what he did last week, not only was he standing up for his team captain but he was reacting to an elbow thrown by De Belin which somehow went unpunished, at the same time what he did shows that he doesn't put a lot of thought into his game.

If he was always like he was before last years injury we wouldn't have a problem with him. He was focused, making tonnes of ground with his runs and he wasn't giving away his usual glut of silly penalties. Even his defence was getting slightly better because he wasn't constantly looking for a big hit, it was only occasional. But this year he's been suspended for a shoulder charge when playing NSW Cup, he's been fined for pulling Sharon Woods' hair and in general his aggression has gone back to looking for big hits or just having brain snaps where he's giving away penalties.

Like most of us I just wish he would learn to focus his aggression and put some thought into his game. It would serve him and his team much better.

It was not as good as a lot of people try and make out.

His first 10 games or so were average, same crap as at parra then there were about 10 games where he was awesome and the last 3 weeks were missed due to shoulder injury.
