Who does our recruitment?

I honesty think it's player managers who do our recruitment. Average players are offered on the cheap and invariably we say, "Sure! What could possibly go wrong?" We are bargain-basement shoppers who cannot resist a sale. There does not appear to be any thought or strategy beyond that.

Agree 1000%. I got torn to shreds for suggesting Ben T isn't an NRL first grader a number of weeks ago.
I dont even think Jake is worth the $950k he is getting. Look at impact and contributions in attack and defence that Carrigan, Murray, Radley, Nanai and others and I bet they give far better value for money.

yep, some subjects are sacrosanct, Burbo and Jurbo fall into this category.

Yeah we have a few places to fill. But we also have Matterson and James to come into the 30 next year.

No he was a good buy, but he is not a Fafita, Haas Munster Walsh etc. A superstar....
