A week of BBQ spare ribs ...

I think you're on the money, Woodsie. Was just looking at a couple of photos in the paper and he does seem to have lost a bit of bulk. Dude needs some Weight Gain 4000.

Beefcake! Beefcake! Beefcake!

If this has been covered I apologise ... but couldn't face reading through 20 pages of game time thread hysteria to find out ...

Has Turbo turned vegan during his lay-off ..... he looked peely wallie, guant, pale and about 10kg's lighter .... didn't look like he had any power or strength ..... skinny as a rake ....

A week at an all you can eat meat eaters BBQ is needed ....... washed down with home made chicken broth ....

DAM thought this was one of those enter the competition and win this type things ....You have no idea how hungry you have just made me

I do agree, he looked like he was coming off an illness rather than injury, I would have thought if anything, he would have been a bit over not under on his return, maybe he adjusted his diet to much in anticipation. In any case I hope he packs on a little and gets his confidence back which I am sure he will being the champ he is.

Drove past yesterday and did a double take because it just has “hot wings and tinnies” spray painted on the awning.

It’s a great combo though. Will have to give it a try.
I might have to make my way out to the beaches to give it a try

nice cook.

I was hoping thats what this thread was about.

Can we also look at Brisket, pulled pork, pork belly burn't ends and all the other goodness that is low and slow BBQ?
If you haven't been, Fluffy, you need to check out Vic's Meat Market, at the Fish Markets in Pyrmont. KILLER burnt ends and brisket, as good as anything I've had in the States: https://www.vicsmeatmarket.com.au

I’ll get hammered for this..

The worlds leading sports nutritionists are turning the worlds best athletes to plant based diets to get optimal performance and recovery. Sporting Champions like Steph Curry, Serena Williams and Lewis Hamilton and Roger Federer have trained professionals looking after their diets so the athletes don’t necessarily do that much research to navigate their way through the transition. I found this article interesting back in Feb. I recall the Rabbitohs eating this way when they won the 2014 grand final and a lot of players adopt the approach during long term injuries as it aids quicker recovery

Not sure what was up with Turbo, but he’s only 1 game back from a recurring injury and his confidence and timing will swiftly return to his best

Just watched the replay and Turbo really looked pasty and thin :wasntme:

Maybe he had the flu that Pud had last week :wondering:

Meanwhile Jakey's Team Song performance was at 200% energy :giggle:

Thank you .... when I say it I'm just being mean.

When you say it they will believe you ..... sshhhheeeeesh

Ah, now you've said it, I can see it!

I wonder why no one else saw it?

Probably just needs a good feed of steaks or something.
