Just to realise how bad the bears were 2 premierships from 1908 to 1999.

Now after the joint venture there's a really good bloke that posts here who was a bears man before 1999. You guys might know him @Merchant Of Doom so he's been a manly fan since 2003 and in that time manly have won the same amount of comps as norths did in 90 of years

I work in North Sydney which has bears banners all over the place. They are treated with the same apathy as the team was by their supporters (also why advertise in the one area where there would be few if any fans...classic bears)

For all the old North Sydney Bear fans to day is a magic day - 100 year celebration of their last premiership. Yes the Bears beat the mighty rugby league powerhouse Glebe 35 to 3 in the Final.
