Nah my Mum got it for 2 reasons

1) it was cheap at KMART as a defective model
2) she did my fathers books and quotes on it

We ended up taking it over as a games machine in the end. But I did learn to type quite well back then, and can now touch type

I've still got a couple of cassette games for the c64
Paperboy and Ghosts and Ghouls.

Anyone got a working c64? 🙂

wow they were some cracking games too. I also like Winter Olympics  and California games. Gianna sisters was another classic.

I just run an emulator for them every now and then

I focussed on trying to shag the women in the game, you focussed on nerding it up with the machine.  At least I had my priorities sorted.

California Games was outstanding, used to be a gun with the footsack lol. Always felt a great sense of achievment when I got the BMX to the end of the course too

Well we are the same age, so I guess I just didn't wait until there was grass on the wicket to play cricket.
