7th tackle - Moylan, Hastings and DCE news

I know for a fact that Moylan told Manly he wanted out of Penrith. Not through a source of a source of a source either. He couldn't get out of his Panthers contract...that should not be so difficult to fathom.
Yeah all the sources seem rubbery at best I guess someones source will be correct

You are assuming that Pearce, Moylan and Thompson have never been in dialogue with Manly, based on what? Because they haven't signed? That doesn't mean it's a rubbery source, that just means that they haven't been able to agree to terms based on a number of variables.

We had the entire Sydney media discussing Moylan's potential move to Manly, it obviously fell through. Thompson has openly discussed on social media that he might have to move on and that he is unsure at this stage. Cordner said he spoke to Pearce and would leave their conversation private (if it looks like a duck and quacks, it's probably a duck).

Unless these players get on our forum and post something themselves, the best we have to go by is the possibility that something is on the cards...if it doesn't happen, so be it...but that doesn't constitute false information.

I’ll believe it all when it’s announced, either #nextweek or failing that some #nextweek

Until then its just rumours, and they, are as common as arseholes!

I just read through the Moylan thread and someone said his source stated that Moylan was never leaving Penrith (his source apparently on coaching staff) so when you have one source saying he is leaving and only transfer fee stopped him and another saying he was never leaving than I stand by that sources are rubbery.

The only people who will ever know the truth is the people involved. People keep sighting a source (not talking about you just in general) than they are bound to be right once in a blue moon.

Have to agree with @Snake on this one. Moylan definitely wanted out of Penrith and probably did have a word with manly. I would want to leave the club if they made out that I was mentally unstable.. What a crock.. They've forced him to stay by imposing a personal financial burden on him if he wanted to break his contract. There is a lot of player movement in the off-season and each movement creates a ripple effect on the market.. So it makes sense that we would be after the moylan's and the Pearce's if we are willing to let Green go.. So whilst there aren't any signings announced doesn't mean there is no dialogue..

Noone should have a dig at Snake.
The deal is never done...even through a player manager till signed...then still time to get out.
It’s the modern game where you can only expect- the unexpected...

Players sometimes tell their own club one thing & the prospective club another.........shock horror!

Both sources therefor could have been correct.

Im with Snake

Problem is people on this forum latch onto things too quickly, then work themselves into a lather and then are outraged when things don't come to fruition

People only have themselves to blame not people who are ITK or the media

Also the #nextweek jokes are a perfect example of the above and super tedious

Well aren’t you lucky, I’m heading overseas for a month in the next ten days and you’ll get relief from reading my posts.

I won’t be back to December the 3rd, so almost a whole month!
