6 day turnaround

Why didn't the NRL schedule the chooks semi on a Sunday afternoon to give us a 7 day turnaround? Chooks get 8 days, we get 6. Not fair.

It has been that way forever, but is 8pm Saturday night really better for Nein than 4pm Sunday?

The Bold and the (Not-so) Beautiful was asked about the difference in turnaround time in the presser and said he was fine with it. Roosters finished higher and probably deserved it. We don't care or feel aggrieved in any way. We're just going to get on with it. Which strikes me as exactly the right attitude to take.

We were originally due to play on Saturday night, but NRL changed us and Doggies to Sunday, as it would of clashed with the Giants. But yes I think Sunday arvo 4pm is a ratings winner, over Saturday 8pm.

And now NRL has decided Storm vs Manly/Easts will also be 6 days after this Saturday night's game.

Manly will have to go into 1978 mode. The grand final replay was Manly's sixth game in 24 days.

The bigger issue is the Friday night game, there will be lucky to be 20 people there. You have the swans at 7:40 at the SCG, something that has been known is happening for 2 weeks now, and you have the Cowboys and Sharks at 7:50 at Allianz. I literally could not even fathom trying to get out there as a Sharks fan or Cownoys fan

Its going to be a **** show out there trying to get there will be impossible, nowhere to park, transport absolute chaos well done to all involved in the planning

Yep terrific planning. A whole city to choose from with Accor , Commbank stadiums and they do that. Why not play at Win Stadium would be easier for Sharks supporters to get to than Allianze will be and they're not likely to get more than 15000 anyway.

Roosters get the advantage here and for what reason. It feels like if you fail in week one of the finals you get the raw end of the stick abs week 2 should be home final for the team that got the win.

Either way I thought the NRL had really started to come good when they got rid of the major stadium **** show

We won in front of 40000 rabid dogs fans. A few thousand latte sippers is nothing.

Your team would be battle hardened from that game mate, it’s never easy winning games like that. Was deffinetly one of the most hostile crowds in recent years, fiery rugby league at its best. Politics Poultry is nothing to be intimidated by
