The NRL has just announced that six stadiums will be used:
Bankwest
Campbelltown
Central Coast
Suncorp
QCB (Townsville)
AAMI Park (Melnbourne)

Will a home ground advantage make a difference to those who play there regularly?

Not as much as normal without the crowd to influence referees and inspire the team through cheering.

Knowledge of most grounds is well known by coaches in terms of camber, level, sun impact, wind etc., so I don't see this as any major advantage. Psychological advantage is probably the only difference and how comfortable and confident players feel about playing on a particular ground. Golfers will know what I'm talking about when there are particular holes on a golf course that you always Birdie or at worse Par and other particular holes that you just tend to 'stuff up'.

Remember that for a few weeks at least, the NRL will literally be the only sporting competition that will be playing. Its a perfect opportunity to expose the NRL to those who might not normally watch rugby league.

I mean......I was watching the Bundesliga on the weekend so not quite true. Also the J-League and I think the K-League.

And I love my NRL as much as most but I think Bayern and Dortmund are a bigger draw on the world scale than Manly and The Tigers

That said I do agree with your point

Yep, but I very much doubt the NRL wil be putting um...lifelike dolls withs mouths agape ( albeit covered with facemasks) inthe stands like they did in Korea.

please could the nrl explain why Brookvale is unsafe but Gosford is, Parra is? I'm no Doctor but this smacks of BS

Is it because Brookvale is/will be open to the public during the week and the others are closed off? I could be off but that's the reason i can think of?

As others have said Wankbest should have have been replaced with ANZ, no team in Sydney should have been given home field advantage. Crowd or no crowds there is always an advantage plying at your home ground.

Apparently according to Fox news the new government Covid-19 app has got bugs. Irony.
What's next.

lol

It wouldn't surprise me if the bug totally accidentally on purpose sent everyone's info to that "My health record" system the govt set up using medicare a couple of years ago.
