IMO, despite the defeat, we had a lot of players trying hard. They deserve some regognition:

Koula was just about the only Manly player to look dangerous with the ball tonight.

If I was giving out negative points, DCE, Brooks, Jazz, Jake and even Turbo would get them on tonight's "effort".

We know the top 2 were clearly our best. I do really like that Simpkin is running from dummy half here and there, gets the team moving forward which is nice, noticed it a bit tonight.

Now season over I'd drop DCE he is playing totally disinterested and doing more harm than good. Was reasonable for 2 missed tackles that lead to 12 points to Raiders. He rarely takes control of the attack or lack thereof. Brooks needs training on his kicking game its pedestrian and lacks depth. Jazz is just Jazz and he's leaving. Jake is the conundrum, he has no attack and hasn't breached a line in forever, problem who picks up his defense and does his 40 tackles? Tom, he's shot. He can't run anymore, is it a niggling injury or is this the new Turbo. He couldn't chase down that break last night, one of his teammates who was behind him made more ground than Tom.

Maybe give some game time to some of our fringe players.
