No worries, still want to have a thread were everyone can say who they voted for and discuss why. So go and vote officially everyone, then come back here and say why, if you like.

I'll start.

Gift was at his best in my book. Doing the tough stuff as well as creating a little.

Killer similar. Some great work and he is the best centre in the world. End of story!

Snake, 3 points if he stays on. Absolutely brilliant in the first half.

While I'm always gutted to lose that way (don't start me on the refs!!!), I liked what I saw. Starling looks good, apart from a dumb penalty to two, but Tooves will sort that.

I don't think we played bad, rather we switched off, and the re-shuffle with Snake going off didn't help. Maybe they could of left him out long enough to make a bird of it, but I understand why they clocked him off.

I hate losing to the scum, but it's rd 1, and I think we're probably where we need to be.

Anyway, that's my take, let's hear yours!

Thought Gifty was probably our best. Matai good first half, but getting shuffled to the wing killed his second half impact. Snake great when on but hard to poll points for half a game. DCE pretty good except for a couple of brain fades.

Would have liked to have seen more game time for JSL.

I almost gave Brett 3 because no one really did anything in the second half to take away from a devastating performance, but in the end if went with Glenny 3, Brett 2 and Choc 1. Chocs workrate was fantastic on both sides of the ball.
