He is exactly the type of player we need. Unbelievable that the Knights get him and we don't even throw our hat in the ring. I am so close to walking away from this club. The owners seemingly don't give a crap so why should us fans. They are shamelessly grifting longtime supporters and younger fans alike.

We are keeping our powder dry for a big signing……….i heard woodsy is planning on making a comeback next season. 🤣

The sad thing is we need at least three or four new forwards to compete. Ola, Bull, Simpkins, Paseka and maybe TKO fir a season are the only forwards worth keeping.
Rest are second stringers.
One signing won't fix anything.

We will be running around with the same duds next year.

In fairness, I think the only person suggesting he should graduate to football manager is Seibold himself. The idea that you can fail as a coach only to get a promotion is ludicrous.Surely not even Scott Penn is that dumb.

Wow. No doubt Mooney has potential but that's decent coin for a forward who's only ever started twice in NRL ... and been reserve grade all this year!

So who else do the Druggos have in their team when you have KP on 1.5 ,Dylan Brown on 1.4 and Mooney on .600 plus they dont have a decent 1/2 or 5/8 depending where Brown plays ,and I think they still have Hastings for 800k next year ?? Like I dont understand how we cant put our iron in the fire with a player like that .If Aloai is medically retired its like for like in terms of cash ,like I dont get it

agree ,but with the muted exit of plenty of our forwards Sippers, Lodge, Croker maybe I would have thought we would throw a few punches and at least keep our gloves up .

There's not much point having your cash tied up in a few stars. A few injuries to key players can completely cripple a squad built on that model.

The Dogs and Raiders are showing a much better way forward - build a versatile squad with primarily B and C tier players, with plenty of energy and depth.

We would be having a radically different season if Paseka and Aloiai had been available, but alas here we are.

Those players you mention are also playing at above what they are currently getting if they went to the market now they'd be worth more. That's one of our problems our big $$$ earning players are playing well below what they are currently contracted for. We also don't have players that are playing above their contracted value.

Crichton at $850, yeah right , on the cap you mean. He was a superstar when he was signed , bet there’s at least another $500k somewhere.
