2026 recruitment & retention

Is that the first time some people have seen Da Silva?

As someone else posted, you can't judge a player on one game. If you judged Lehi solely on tonight you wouldn't find him anything special.

Also he is 20.
Unfortunately ,I don't .
Lehi is way overrated here.
Yes ,he is a good player - But not anything more (As yet )

The 'as yet' is the point though.

There is not one NRL player in the history of the game that is the finished article at 20.

Both with huge upside though, at least that is clear in my mind.

Not often a talented player of the calibre of Da silva comes along. The hooker position has been a problem for years. Hopefully we get him.
Why the hell would he join us? We are a club on the slide not on the rise....

Bit of talk that Richo is going to override Benji and da silva will not be released even for next season. Richo is not wanring to extend Api so watch this space.

Power struggle berween Benji and Rico Benji in as much strife as Seibold

Knights Junior moves teams months after being named SG Ball skipper……
The Newcastle Knights have lost another young forward to another NRL club, who was initially set to be promoted to the club's development list next season.

A hard-working back-rower, Will Cannavo, was meant to be the next big forward to come out of the Knights' pathways system and was even named the SG Ball Cup captain earlier this year.

Less than seven months after being handed the captaincy of the Under-19s side, he has now departed the Knights to take up an opportunity with the Manly Sea Eagles and even made his NSW Cup debut for them against his former club.

Anyone know how this kid goes?
