2026 recruitment & retention

Should of tried to pinch Hass 3 seasons back when he wanted out, talk about missed opportunity, his current deal of 3.5m over three years, made him the most expensive bronc ever, they would know his playing better footy now than he ever has, anyone else thinking his next deal will not be less.

He's one of the few props who is worth that kind of money

'So I still have a chance then.'

But our mate @XV-1 reckons the coach can’t coach , so none of those will be a y good , we’ll need superstars ftom other clubs for it to work. 😂😂😂😂
It does help if the coach can coach and lift his players above adversity and also has the ability to get on board with the board feathered friend
This is the playing squad Seibold had at his disposal when he took the Broncos to their first Wooden spoon in the Histroy of their proud club .

Agreed, though I'd like to keep Talau and TKO (though see how he is tracking after another 10 rounds).

Toff a great culture guy if he is on a modest deal.

Toff seems like a happy go lucky guy and unfortunately he does not seem to have a mean bone in his body
He always has Big Beautiful smile on his face
We need more Brutality from him to Beat The Storm

We all wish the Toff was more Fiery than Smiley

IMO, Bully and TT2 must be retained. I also think Arthur is getting bigger and better each season and will turn into a good first grader.

Presume there is still a top or a top 30 spot -_ spots available and for Patolo if he can keep his improvement going and to be considered longer term .
Think that Sipps has knuckled down reasonably well the past couple of seasons , then guys like Faulalo , Schoupp , Arthur definitely offering quite a bit .
Taukeiaho in a slightly different category but certainly going well so far , Gordy maybe on the fringe side
High priority of course with Bully and Talau but wish that he [ Talau ] could overcome his injury concerns A S A P

Just not sure what is going on with Bully,
Did hear one report a couple of weeks ago that Manly were in the process of [ or trying ] re signing him .
Should be fairly obvious that his form level has been quite impressive for a while now so would assume that any outside interest would have been apparent .
Again , seems quite content at Manly , maybe is just quite a casual type of guy who fully realizes that Manly values his role and will still re sign on a satisfactory deal in due course .
Well , one can only hope

Agree
Bully is at the age where forwards start to peak, or don't make it.
And we all see how he plays.

That’s a pretty weak squad at the time mate. It looks good seeing Carrigan, Dearden, Farnworth, Fifita, Coates, Haas, Flegler etc until you realise they were all 18, 19, 20 year olds. Whoever had that squad for the next couple years was always going to look good. Kevvie Walters benefited from Siebold development I think
