As mentioned a few weeks ago, I took on board a suggestion from previous years and took the voting tally behind closed doors 'Dally M' style for the last few weeks. I'll go through the points for each round from Rd 21 onwards in this thread, culminating in the 2024 Silvertails MVP winner announcement.

And thanks for putting it together, it's a great feature.

And very interesting indeed that Brooksy came in at No 1, a very consistent season and proved to be a top recruitment, from out of the blue. Whoever had the idea of signing him... good job!

I think the Silvertails MVP carries a fair bit of weight because no-one scrutinises Manly performances as closely as Silvertails members. The journos and experts rarely do, that's for sure.

So congrats Brooksy, it's a pretty high quality Honour Roll you're now on.

And of course thank you @mosto for your ongoing efforts with this , it’s nearly always an enjoyable part of this group but it is hard to vote after a really bad loss.

17 different players earned points in at least one game, but that includes a few who are not regular members of the top 17.
Some notable names missing - Croker, Saab, Garrick, Burbo

Thanks @mosto . Another reason this site is awesome. Thanks for volunteering your time again and sifting through all those 'made up but super funny nicknames' you get saddled with.

Didn't think first year Brooks would be on top, but that good signs for next year when the combinations click even better.

Yep good idea , I’ll do that when I get some time , just headed out for lunch at the Cheeky Monkey Brewhouse ( Margaret River) for lunch.

I generally work them out. The hardest thing this year was when people voted Tom, Tom T or Tommy, when both Talau and Turbo played 🤦‍♂️
