Jacob Arthur. And this legend can keep playing exactly the same way as he is. Wow he's been brilliant these last 3 games !

Jake to prop. Schuster can play 12 if he can fight his way back.

Either way, Arthur needs a spot in our side next season.

He can chuck in a sneaky kick or two also to keep the opposition guessing - we'd have plenty of options with Brooks and Croker also there to help DCE.

Yeh I'm pleasantly suprised mate
His first game at 5/8 was like a NSW CUP bloke who may lace up the boots as a last resort, but it was an ordinary "team" performance that day where our forwards were dominated which didn't help.
Recent games suggest far different and what I like most about your call is the energy and extra pace he gives around that middle......and let me add the other spark being Gordie at dummy half.....we may suddenly have that pace in this key area, lacking so far behind more recently.
Ok Ryan, I give a thumbs up as this may turn into reality come 2023

I like the idea but I think he would be too small to play lock.
I think he is a reasonable size. Looks as big as Radley and Murray. And he's still very young.
Size is not everything. I'm amazed how much tough defensive work Cotter does. He's a small forward yet he is the type of player every pack needs.
I'd be giving Arthur a crack at lock but easing him into the position by having him as a bench player initially where he can fill in for several positions. At this stage Bully would be another bench player in our starting 2024 pack, where he would be able to play front row, second row or lock. That would leave one specialist lock plus Gordon as a back-up hooker, or have two specialist props (which I think would be overkill as Jurbo can play long minutes as a prop).

Let’s hope he is not another pre season Johns - not sure about as a 13 though

He’s too skinny just now, I reckon he needs another year of growing to fill out his frame (I saw him in the flesh at the Sands a week after we signed him & he’s built like my 19 year old son - long, tall, but very slender lol) but I agree he’s a future second rower/lock.

A big off-season in the weights room, another season at BWSE as 5/8th & then second row in the latter half of the season, & as halves back up for first grade & another offseason in the gym & I think he’ll be ready to play second row in first grade.

Manly ball boy, has maroon in his blood! He’s young and lacks nrl experience, give him 12-18months and could be a solid first grader. I like him, more upside than johns

I discriminate indiscriminately
I see him as an option for the 14 but can’t see him at starting lock at the moment myself…

agree he has played well since coming across and I thought he was a lot better at the squeels than the media gave him credit for… but he’s no chance of pushing Brookes/DCE out and he is not a centre or winger but could potentially cover those positions and also provide cover for the back row and hooker…

I therefore see him as having more appeal as a 14 than GCKT - but a back up 9 at 14 seems to be the approach these days so I imagine Gordon may be first in line…
