Is he really an upgrade? The coaching records would suggest so, though if you look at the Panthers it is far from one individual leading their success.

The Penrith Football club have developed their identity over years, with stable coaching and clear philosophies that the players can adapt to and thrive under.

While it’s reasonable to compare Seibold to the benchmark team and coach in Penrith and Ivan Cleary it’s a bit unfair to overlook the foundational work done by their coaching staff, for instance, the Penrith Panthers junior academy has been in place since 2016.

This long-term commitment to coaching and development is key to their success, something that Seibold and Manly are still striving to establish.
