Wow so that was the Grand Final.

I thought The Kid Laroi was average, but it turns out he was the best part of the night.

What a complete bludger of a game.

I can see them winning number 5 and probably 6. Wish it was us.
Completely agree mate. Nrl needs some new teams at the top of the ladder for the game.

My Riff loving son in law ( sadly in heaven now ) would have loved seeing this. Sadly he passed in 2018 so missed it all.

His two boys , now 15/13 are mad Panfers fans , so they are celebrating for him.

**** the cheaters , pleased they lost.

Sorry due to the above I can’t hate the Riff.

I discriminate indiscriminately
Losing their 6 and 8 next year is a massive impact - big Nath missing games every year and not having Jerome there is massive

You can replace a heap of players but for me 1,6,7,9 and your 8/10 take time to develop as players and are harder to replace
Agree... BUT...

They lost
Korosiau - no impact
Capewell - no impact
Staines - no impact
Burton - no impact
Kikau - no impact
May - no impact
Leniu - no impact
Salmon - no impact
May - no impact
Cogger - no impact
Crighton - no impact

Yes, losing Luai and JFH is huge. not convinced they cannot replace tgem though... for example, Schneider has potential, Cole is not hopeless and tge McLean boys look like guns...

5 in a row is entirely possible...

I agree anyone except the Storm or Roosters.
How we didn't carry on after the 2007-2013 era is criminal.
We should have been able to attract almost anyone with players prepared to sign for unders with successful teams and stayed a top 4 team.
Penn and his crazy KPIs and not being able to fund the team to stay a premiership force which we still haven't recovered from.
Hasler taking the money and running after 2011 GF was the catalyst for our downfall. No proper pathways established during that period. Then the whole DCE fiasco and Trbojevic's bloated contracts on top of Penn's incompetence

Carn... that was a hell of a game of football... hardly any stoppages...

Agree that I wish it was us though 😁

Don't hate them just extremely jealous of how their management got their club together while our management sh*t their dacks the last decade.

Not to mention that off the field things were basically split in two with the Penn's faction on one side and the Quantum faction on the other.

Through all that we lost Foz, lost Choc and Tooves got the boot.

The Penn's side won out, contracts for stars got over-inflated ... and we haven't been close to a GF since.....

The NRL also made it impossible for us. The rot started when they wouldn't let us resign Glenn Stewart for "less than he was worth". But if course the Roosters can do that to their heart's content now.

It all started with the Glenn Stewart saga. That was a disgrace and was more than 10 years ago. We are light years from getting back there sadly.

Penrith too good tonight. Water tight defence.

I thought the storm halves were off tonight. Hughes had a horrible kicking game always going long, and how many times did Munster get the ball with no-one around him?.

Penrith too good in the end.

I thought the riff middle was just too good...

The drizzle middles and halves were shut down and they needed to go wide to get any impact - ie. Coates was very good, Katoa was immense and Warbrick tried hard...

Grant was made to defend his a*se off (with Riff forwards actually running directly AT him rather than trying to get around him) and all impotus was generally taken out of the drizzle attack...

Mind you, not Munster's best game...

Riff won it because of a couple of special efforts but they put themselves in that position by shutting the drizzle offence down...

The other thing that the Riff did VERY well was that Hughes only got maybe 2 attacking kicks in the whole game that were NOT made under pressure...

It is worth pointing out that Penrith have lost a heap of players in the past few years such as Burton, Koroisau, Kikau, Crichton, Leniu due to the same reasons... and they are still racking up premierships.

I have heard that the Panthers have won their 4th Premiership in a row
In the Salary cap Handy cap era that is super extraordinary

I do not look at who they lost as they have lost key players before and prevailed
I look at who they have maintained
They have maintained dominant and experienced Grand final winning players to keep building a premiership winning team around them

Yes, it is Hard to win 5 in a row as it was Hard to win 2 , 3 and 4 in a row
But if their Genius coach can Keep his players Hungry then 5 in a Row is very possible indeed feathered friend @frank stokes

Great point that you made feathered friend
No excuses from the Panthers
They are way too good for that
Panthers are full of solutions
You have to admire them

United we stand
Divided we fall ....
Egotistical and selfish self serving Factions Fck clubs up
And that is what they did

Good on your grand sons, very happy for them.

No hate for Penrith here, they are a colossus, hard to hate Edwards, Yeo, Martin, JFH or Nathan. I even like Too and Luai. How good is Mitch Kenny.
