Australian rugby is set to re-sign Brumbies speedster and former Sea Eagles playmaker Tom Wright as Wallabies duty looms for the in-form winger.
The Herald can reveal that while rugby has lost out to Manly in the fight for gun Sydney schoolboy Tolu Koula and is also losing hope of securing the services of 16-year-old phenomenon Joseph Suaalii, it does expect to notch a win with Wright's signature on a new two-year deal.
RA was intent on signing the Newington College Year 12 student but lost its chance, with Koula opting to stay with Manly - where he plays SG Ball - on a two-year deal with a third-year option.
