Not sure why you think the number of premierships has anything at all to do with it?I cannot believe the Rabbits currently have over 27,000 South Sydney fans who have committed as members of their club . That is nearly 3 times more club members than ours

Agree, they yearn to belong to something as they don't really have a home at Redfern anymore nor a Leagues club and I'd say that since they have been competitive over the last 10 years - regular finalists and that sickening GF win - that only encourages them more, poor bastards.Not sure why you think the number of premierships has anything at all to do with it?
Look at the Chooks, won the last 2 comps but so far only have 300 more members than us.
Many, many factors affect membership tallies.
In the bunnies case, their huge campaign for reinstatement to the comp no doubt generated a lot of fan solidarity which still carries over now.
