The PM has promised them tax concessions with every membership!
Another figure surprises me: only 10,000 for Illawarra. I know they had a poor 2019 season but this amalgamated club has always been among the best supported in the league.

I cannot believe the Rabbits currently have over 27,000 South Sydney fans who have committed as members of their club . That is nearly 3 times more club members than ours

In the last 50 years the South Sydney club has given their fans 5 wooden spoons and one premiership

The most successful club in the modern era the Manly Sea eagles have given us Manly supporters 8 premierships and that is 7 premierships more than Trels Bunnies and let us not talk about wooden spoons as the Manly Sea eagles have never stooped that low to disgrace their Manly Jumper or put their fans through embarrassment !

Manly fans..... we owe our great club big time

Agree, they yearn to belong to something as they don't really have a home at Redfern anymore nor a Leagues club and I'd say that since they have been competitive over the last 10 years - regular finalists and that sickening GF win - that only encourages them more, poor bastards.

I just had a look at their member offerings ( I will need some of that turps @globaleagle!) they have
12 categories of membership - even international - so just one of those count in the tally no matter if it's their dog.

Just a couple of things re membership counts;

Broncos include Suncorp Stadium members ie they could be Reds or Roar supporters

Souths include lifetime member who signed up (ie donated) to their reinstatement campaign many years ago.

Also I believe our membership program is quite positive from a business point of view - other clubs programs don’t contribute as much to bottom line

My belief is other teams have a lot more ‘seats’ to sell than us and until we get be facilities we will struggle to break 15k barrier. New Northern stand may assist next year.

I wouldn't have thought there were many Reds supporters left given how hopeless they have been since they won in 2011.

Typical of the Donkeys to scam the membership tally, they have plenty of form with the salary cap.
