Loobs

Living in the demountable.
So Green is in a two year deal meaning this spot is open in two years time. Crystal ball:crystalball:and assuming we promote from within - who would assume inherits this spot? Cullen? Hastings? Matt Wright @:D

Hastings for sure. I know it was only reserve grade but he was a class above. His kicking game imo is better than Dce and green. The good thing is he will be putting a lot of pressure on the above mentioned.

I suspect Manly were hoping Tom Wright would be ready by then, but he keeps getting injured. Still a chance but after watching the Hastings tape, he could very much be our answer. Tough, smart, creative, quite fast and has a remarkable sense of positioning and passing as well as kicking that almost reminded me of Cliffy. At 21 he could well be the answer and certainly would close the door on Bird coming across from the Sharks. A real surprise packet

Agree, we just don't have the cattle in the 20's and the few good ones we do have like Tom, Parker and Bainbridge will most likely be playing for Blacktown or 1st grade throughout the year.

I'd say that with the impending demise of the U20's, that it will be nothing more than a poaching ground to take the best and cultivate them in the Intrust Cup and firsts (if good enough). I know the coach (Wayne) and he is talented, very knowledgable and great at working with young men; however, I think he is fighting an uphill battle here.

I didn't see the game or know how many minutes each player got on the field but the starting side selected was mainly guys fighting for depth spots. If some of the better players got a lot of time then that is not great but remember most of these guys were playing ball last year. There are some good players there like Funa,Polselli,Cust,Tufui,Josh Martin,Faatui and bring back S/J Hopoate who is apparently away on a mormon mission?Probably not enough experience to give it a real shake this year but there are some good players with NRL potential there.

watched the game . Not o ne of them did anything worth mentioning . They were worse than last year. The half from Souths is woeful.the hooker from last year is useless . The kid from Canberra played lock and hooker was good. Did not see the second rowers hit the ball up once,no short balls from cust.all the props seem to think is you pura big shot on and that's it.islander boys from last year in the forwards look like they have put on 20kgs to there detriment . In a nutshell crap

Jackson Hastings or Cameron Cullen, personally hopefully it's Cullen absolutely love him and the way he plays, has mongrel and spice that he brings to the team.
