I think we've done quite well with "our" homeless dreggs......Uate, Walker, Sironen, Taupau, AFB > all signed during various 'off seasons' as you put it!

"quite well"..........................good but way short of good enough!!

Also really from that list only Uate has performed consistently well.........................and Marty has been generally good.
The other 3 not so much.

Hard to please some eh? Wouldn't matter who we signed there will always be those that are never happy with recruitment!

Rate him out of 10, in terms of pre-season expectation and what he has actually delivered as a bench prop.
I would give him an 8/10 on that criteria.

2018 ship has sailed, bar some over the cap 30 year olds from the scumdog millionaires.

We will have to stick to rejects and youth to invigorate the 2018 squad sadly.

Happy to be proven wrong, but can't see much "quality" left in the open.
