The thing that worries me about 2017, more than will Snake or Matai play, is Lewis Brown. Sure he can cover multiple positions and that did help us a bit this year. But lets face facts......

He would be at best our 3rd choice hooker, probably 5th or 6th choice back rower and about the 4th or 5th choice centre. He's not good enough to start in any of those positions mentioned and there are others that are much better than him in each. He doesn't kick goals so that's a non-event and his kicking and passing game pretty much sucks. And don't get me started on his defence. Sure his stats say he doesn't miss a lot of tackles, but that's because he is usually the 2nd or 3rd man in when the bulk of the tackle has already been done. One on one he'd have a better chance of blocking Kareem's skyhook.

What worries me is that regardless, he is going to be in the 17 just about every week.

Call me delusional .... but all the hype that came with Matt Parcell was not backed up with on field performances .... he has heaps to learn .... he showed no cleverness, no organizing, his passing was not much better than Api's, defense no better, dummy half runs no better .... he may end up a good hooker even a great hooker but I've seen nothing yet that justifies the wraps he came with ...
