"We told you some time ago that Manly were eager to snap up Kiwi International and Penrith forward Suia Matagi.

And now we can tell you the deal is done and the only reason it took the Sea Eagles so long to secure, was because Parramatta made a last-ditch play for the hard-running prop"

Well I know the lurker is... Well the lurker but let's hope this has some truth to it

The St George Illawarra Dragons have signed Raiders forward Paul Vaughan on a three-year contract.

Maybe Manly should do what the all blacks do and search their offices for electronic bugging devices.

that way maybe Parra will have to try and recruit all on their little lonesomes!

Parramatta is set to make a play for North Queensland superstar Kalyn Ponga, believing the rising rookie is the last missing piece in their quest for a drought-breaking premiership.

Ponga is contracted to the Cowboys until the end of next year, but will be one of the hottest young talents on the open market. The 18-year-old can officially field interest from rival clubs from November 1 and it is understood Canterbury, St George Illawarra, Newcastle, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast are already preparing to battle the Cowboys for his signature.

WARRIORS chief executive Jim Doyle has moved to end speculation surround the playing future of Tuimoala Lolohea, saying the club will not be letting the talented youngster go.

England’s Wakefield Wildcats have offered Andrew Fifita a massive deal in an effort to add one of the most prolific props of the 2016 season to their roster, according to a Rugby League Week report.

Lurker ....

Big spenders Manly are set to join the race to sign Kiwi international forward Kevin Proctor.

Tall forward Proctor seems certain to leave Melbourne and has been linked to the Titans for several weeks.

But the Gold Coast have been unable to seal the deal and suddenly Manly are also in the hunt.

With Bob Fulton at the helm, Manly have a habit of getting their man and could sneak under the Titans’ noses to land Proctor.

Taufua & Naiqama on the Wolves radar

Cashed up English club Warrington is raiding the NRL and has its sights on signing a classy outside back.

The Wolves are torn between two contenders – Manly winger Jorge Taufua and Tigers centre Kevin Naiqama.

Both are under contract for 2017 but would be released by their clubs under the right conditions.

Manly are chasing blokes left right and centre and need to shed players to avoid making the salary cap look a complete farce, while the Tigers are ready to cut Naiqama loose to sign Jamal Idris.

"SHHHHH I

Which club is prepared to let one of their stars walk away due to an overbearing father causing dramas at the club?"

Nathan Ryan on foxsports market watch..

Probably a reasonably young potential 'star' is my guess... 😉

Bevan French extends at the Squeels until the end of 2019.

No shortage of pens out west it seems.
