Australian selectors have confirmed a special Kangaroos Origin Merit Team based on performances through the State of Origin series.

For mine, that two NSW players who played the series from the bench (Jake and Klemmer) made this team shows that Daley and the NSW selectors got it wrong.

Geez he just keeps going from strength to strength. Every person I have been blowing up to about origin has (without me prompting them) said Jake T is excluded from that criticism (and Klemmer to be fair).

Did anyone see the article in the paper today about Fifita going to start from the bench, Klemmer was ready to go......Fifita cried about it and they changed just before the game. That to me is unacceptable.

To be fair, over the series Qld centres were chopped and changed (outside Chambers) and Hayne was the only other option, so I can understand that selection.

Dugan was ordinary; in default of a meritorius candidate, I select Dylan Walker who should have been there anyway (if I can't cheat, then it's Michael Morgan).
Jake T should have been starting, given he was NSW best player over the 3 games (with Josh Jackson probably next).
Tyson Frizzell did little to nothing; I though Jarrod Wallace was really strong for the canetoads.
