2017 (Auditions for 2018 premiership)

My rough assessment is

Uate. (50/50. will do his job)
Sironen. (If he starts to play like he has a pair, will excel)
Lane. (If he starts to play like he has a pair, will excel)
Api. (Learns to feed the halves and forwards or becomes a utility)
Myles. (Solid performer, don't expect more)
Meehan. (Could be anything)
Parker. (will continue to improve. Will impress)
Kelly. (May end up on the wing if I'm right about Parker)
Green. (Solid performer until someone better avail.)(Hastings?)
Wright J (No bloody idea?)
Wright. M (will continue to give solid performances without starring)
Hoppa Jnr (No bloody idea?)
Lussick Jnr. (No bloody idea?)
Bainbridge. (Appears a goer, is he big enough?)
Lawrence. (If he stays fit he will rip in and play a big part)
Hastings. (As a re-born idiot he will thrive at Manly)
Perrett. (another who needs to grow a pair. 50/50)
Cullen. (Talented but arms aren't long enough to tackle adults)
Winterstein. (Will surprise)
Great overall assessment Woodsie - only couple I differ are Lane who simply made a wrong call going to NZ and is the edge running backrower we need....Hoppa Jnr is a gun - and in 3 years his younger brother is better....confident with Uate so about 75/25 on chance there....Overall - Go to the Top of the class my friend - Well played!!

Be great if they ALL performed and suddenly there was a heap of competition to jag a top 17 spot rather than " holy **** who's left".

Love to see Parker and Bainbridge step up as from memory they are Manly juniors, and nothing makes me happier than seeing our local boys perform well.

Agree with winterstein, seemed good in his few performances and loved a catch he took, against the raiders i believe, leaped up and stole it with confidence. He will need to impress when he gets his chances though because I can't see him making the starting 17 right off the bat

What impressed me was that he came from the rugby 7's via Japanese rugby, was signed on a Wednesday and was thrown into FG on the Saturday.

For a bloke who hadn't played a game of senior rugby League for years, and whose condition and training would be lacking, he seemed pretty composed, if a little lost when asked to play in the centres.

The off season training will be a big benefit to him and looks more than a handy backrower if called upon. Possibly lock.

I don't think that you should use the words Japanese rugby, sevens rugby, hasn't played senior league for years, And lacking condition and training all in the one statement with the word .....impressed!
