Parker needs to be persisted with. I can't stand the way the game has developed by wanting nothing but fully developed by 20 powerhouse Polynesians and not taking the time to bring a player through who physically might not cut it at 20.

These players have developed the nousce and skill to make up for their physical dominance during their junior years so the need the opportunity come along in grade without being cut for a bigger body.

I would love to see the lists of non Polynesian players cut after the twenties. Good riddance under 20's. Think that was one of Sticky's ideas along with two referees.

Agree completely with Parker, I think he will be a keeper. Also have a gut feel that Winterstein will go well.

Uate. (50/50. will do his job)
Sironen. (If he starts to play like he has a pair, will excel)
Lane. (If he starts to play like he has a pair, will excel)
Api. (Learns to feed the halves and forwards or becomes a utility)
Myles. (Solid performer, don't expect more)
Meehan. (Could be anything)
Parker. (will continue to improve. Will impress)
Kelly. (May end up on the wing if I'm right about Parker)
Green. (Solid performer until someone better avail.)(Hastings?)
Wright J (No bloody idea?)
Wright. M (will continue to give solid performances without starring)
Hoppa Jnr (No bloody idea?)
Lussick Jnr. (No bloody idea?)
Bainbridge. (Appears a goer, is he big enough?)
Lawrence. (If he stays fit he will rip in and play a big part)
Hastings. (As a re-born idiot he will thrive at Manly)
Perrett. (another who needs to grow a pair. 50/50)
Cullen. (Talented but arms aren't long enough to tackle adults)

Bainbridge only turned 19 in September so will have 2 years to impress but I suspect 1 will be enough.

I think with a lot of the guys being given 2nd/3rd/etc chances, the logic is put these guys together, remind them no one wanted them and put a big chip on their shoulder, unite them behind a common cause (proving people wrong) all while not paying them what they're worth. So I personally think most will pull their fingers out and lift and those who don't will probably not play NRL again...
