At $900,000 a season I can understand why Wests want to move him on. I can only imagine the Faders, Newcastle and Titans would be interested, although Souffs may also want him as a replacement for Luke. These clubs would obviously demand the bulk of Farah's salary be paid by Wests.
When you compare the rosters of Wests, who are close to the cap, and Easts, who have two 1st grade quality sides "under the cap" it's not hard to admire how clever the Easts' paper-bag men are.

Yeah you could be right bluey. I've heard somewhere that we were looking at him a few weeks back. Cartwright may have a high opinion of him for the halves from his Titan days I suppose. As a NSW Cup half signing it has merrit. I'd still expect Hiku or Gutho to get first crack at the 6 in the top grade. Rankin is still young and a rather experienced footballer for his age.

Take note of what other clubs are doing. Rorters just tried to get Sam
Tagataese. Already got Moa who we knocked back and Malagi.
Cronulla have made a quantum leap this year. Compare their roster from last year and note the difference.

I think that's the plan, next year will be a building year and I will be very surprised if some very good forwards aren't signed next year. We have a lot of potential coming up but a few too many of the old guard are still here and they need to be phased out.
