Definitely not! Just making the point that they can't possibly be contemplating moving Idris to the forwards. He deosn't have the work ethic. If they bought him as a back, where is he going to fit. Even if Lyon goes to five-eighth, surely Hiku has to be in the centres, not the wing?

This was confirmed to me by a current player, who used to play with Easts and now represents another club. I didn't ask him to elaborate because I had only just met him and was questioning how Easts stayed under the cap.
Of course, Easts seem too smart to be caught, and I'm sure the NRL don't want to investigate fully, or don;t have anyone capable of uncovering the truth.

I think you'll find quite a few Chooks players have "second jobs" i.e. Bondi's Lawn Mowing Services, where they get 70k+ odd salary for mowing lawns as an example. I know nothing, and that's just a guess.

Lets just say that is a very wealthy area of town. Sydney City has survived because of that big money. And there are many very wealthy mates of the club who are prepared to use their spare change for the odd third party agreement. No doubt behind the scenes deals are done tit for tat to earn those bickies.
