SMH is reporting Barba is on 800k a season at the Sharks!!
Lol.. No wonder the place is such a rabble.
On the basis of his stellar season with Brisbane this year I would have thought his market value would have been closer to 150k. Way to go Cronulla lol.

Easts rumoured to be shopping around Frank-Paul, the wrecking ball, because they have too many front rowers. Guess that's what happens when you have an unlimited salary cap.

He would be a good buy, but I'm presuming we have now spent our cap.

They have too many and well lets just say it is debatable if we have enough. Pretty simple isnt it🙂 Cap space pffffff. This Cap stuff is an utter farce, to make pleb supporters actually think every team has a chance to win the comp. LIke as if Souths , Roosters, Brisbane play within a cap. If you want to bet them you have to join them.

We would certainly look better on paper with FNP added to our forward stocks. If Penn can make this happen, I think i would start to believe.

Cap space is a joke, as rightly pointed out.
I hear that the three M'Harti (sic) Brothers are going to the Dogs because Newcastle can't come close to the offer!
How can this be? The Dogs have a roster of highly-paid internationals. Newcastle hardly any. So obviously some teams operate on different salary caps to others.

Bulldogs list. Four SOO backs Morris x 2, Hodgkinson and Reynolds. Then International forwards Graham, Jackson, Klemmer, Pritchard. Add in Williams (650K), Kasiano, Eastwood and they paid decent money for the Sharks hooker. Now Kaufuso. Like to see what the rest of their squad is on.

Now I read the Sharks are chasing DCE. Where the hell would the Gummies get this money from? Cronulla seems to be joining those clubs with an elastic salary cap.

Maybe phil has donated November's drinking budget.

Rugby League Week’s roving reporter, The Mole, reports that the Dragons are about to sign giant Bulldogs prop Sam Kasiano.

The biggest man in the game standing at 196cm and 122kgs, Kasiano’s future has been the subject of speculation for months.

But The Mole believes the Kiwi international is close to coming to terms with the Dragons.

I'd still like Manly to buy one more Prop. Can be a cheapy. Hell all the forwards are being released from the tigers. How about someone like Jack Buchanan. Yes I am greedy.

MANLY KEEN ON MANU
Sika Manu
Manly still have some money to spend for 2015 – and have targeted Panthers wrecking ball Sika Manu as a replacement for Anthony Watmough. The chunky Manu had one of his best seasons at the Panthers this year and gave Ivan Cleary good value. But the Panthers are always happy to let players on good money go – and Manly could be a chance of snaring his services. Watmough’s departure leaves a big hole in the Manly ranks – but Manu wouldn’t be a bad replacement.
