So we are down on ticketd members (not surprising given the increases) BUT up overall...the club is hoping to break the 5000 by the end of the week.

It is certainly your choice BUT from only $69.00 a great way to financially support your team.

I'd say quite a bit lower than that Cam.

We know 100% are over on MWSE

But many post here to avoid the "fee" to be part of the forum....which as we know isn't a fee as such but is a membership with one of the beneifits being you are able to post.

I would love EVERYONE on here to be a member......we need another 200-300 to crack 5000....so come on everyone!!

Next off-season the club should stage the "Under the Radar" parade complete with ticker tape and banners and players walking or jogging in shifts from Manly to Narrrabeen with officials signing up members from the thronging masses who line the streets to cheer, catch a glimpse of players and get some autographs!

1.  Broker a deal between Manly and FC to combine the current membership structure.
2.  Employ a membership marketer/manager.
3.  Link in with the NRL's drive on membership.
4.  Make more of our Twitter/Facebook presence, rather than surrendering them to breathless pieces on the length of the grass at Brookvale.
5.  Get on with it.

Obviously it's not that easy otherwise don't you think this would be done?  There's politics and egos that need to be satisfied and funding it would be the major sticking point i.e who's going to fork out the $$$$?

I think most posters know what the problems are. Unfortunately when we were bailed out by Delmege things were put in place hastily and now we're suffering the consequences. Sure, in hindsight, had all your points been thought out by the heirachy we wouldn't be having these problems.

I think it's going to take a while before we have a happy, cohesive,functional, professional running club.
[/quote]  Things may have been put in place hastily, but I rest on the knowledge that silvertails people did put a submission to the club on the whole issue of membership similar to what I outlined above.  It didn't *have* to be the hasty model, but no point crying over spilt milk now.
