We have an absolute wealth of talent next year in the forwards. I just don't know how Des is going to select his sides (great concern to have). I tried to think of a way to rate the forwards, so that I could work out our bench (yes, I need a life !!!) and have come up with the following. The higher the score, the better obviously:-

Meter Making: 1) Poor, 2)Average, 3)Good
Defense: 1) Poor, 2)Average, 3)Good

Attack: (X factor): 1) Poor, 2)Average, 3)Good
Leadership: 1) Poor, 2)Average, 3)Good
Fitness: 1) Poor, 2)Average, 3)Good

Perry rated far, far too low, he is at least the equal of Bryant.

Stats wise, up against Bryant he makes 1 less run, makes 3 less metres, makes more tackles and misses less

If i was doing Perrys ratings on this system

Josh Perry:-
Meter Making: 1) Poor, 2)Average, 3)Good.........2
Defense: 1) Poor, 2)Average, 3)Good..................2
Mobility: 1) Poor, 2)Average, 3)Good..................1
Attack: (X factor): 1) Poor, 2)Average, 3)Good...2
Leadership: 1) Poor, 2)Average, 3)Good.............2
Fitness: 1) Poor, 2)Average, 3)Good...................1
Total:- 10

with the ability uder a good coaching regime to lift fitness and ability to 2 each, and with those on board a decent chance to hit a 3 on metres

Also, on Afamasaga, with a full off season under the belt he could really develop an x-factor rating, in a game of PL i saw him play the angles he ran wide were sensational and he was cutting them up at will

Too many figures. Can you post this in the off season when I can worry about such matters. Footy to distract me now and the fate of the Sea Eagles this year.

What else do you do with your time Ryan? Anyway from observation only, Jack needs to work on his defense, Perry on his weight and fitness, Choc on ball holding, King on running straight and hard, Bryant on looking for a new club, Hall on penalty giving and Cuthbo on defense. I notice you haven't looked at Wells. He's big and strong looking and has a future in the pack imo. I don't know whether Rose will come back any good, I'm not a fan.
