Didn’t Windshuttle come from Rugby and it took him a while to realise that not going into touch is a bit more important in League.

Recall noticing Glen Ryan as a sub in 1983 and occasionally in i st grade still in 1989 .

Glenn played FG for most of '84/'85 then was injured. I think he played up near 100 games.

What age group is Flegg ??

It was Under 19s from 1961 to 1997. Then Under 20s from 1998 to 2007. It was basically replaced by the National Youth Competition run by the NRL from 2008 to 2017. The NSWRL Jersey Flegg competition was re-introduced as Under 20s in 2018.

Manly were the first winners in 1961.

Went through Balgowlah Boys with Ross. Finished in 1975 so he was 18 then. He played Union then with Phil Cox who was in our year and Mitchell Cox who was a year behind.
