We definitely need a summer comp to keep us going, I felt so lost this weekend without there being more than just the GF to watch.

The one thing the NRL have done really poorly is they no longer make the Grandfinal a proper event. Having it on at 7:30 is sheer stupidity.

They really need to move it back to the afternoon or earlier in the evening and have it more as a spectacle even with all the extra things like fastest man races etc

I agree, IMO it was much better for everyone having a 3pm or even 5pm kick off, you make an occasion of a family & friends BBQ with the lower grades & NSWRL vs QLD Cup grand finals before the main event & still enjoy a few hours post-match before calling it a night.

Yep and there's no way I'm having any of my kids stay up to watch it, which is disappointing for them but it's just too late

I have the Seattle Seahawks to cover half that time frame which is good, then Xmas and holidays so there's another month of Chaotic fun...then only 90 days.

Yep I go between this forum and the jungle (Jax Jaguars) one from here on.

Supercars and end to the F1 season.
Plus so good off season signing‘s from us as a club to give us a few threads to speak about and before you know it round 1 will come around again.

I’m a cricket nut so I don’t mind the off season, although I prefer the season of course.
